Chieftan Racing teams with Chemstore for the Volvo Worldwide Race

The Chieftan Sailing Racing Team has chosen Chemstore to provide critical logistics backup to the team in the worldwide Volvo Ocean Race.

Chemstore has designed specially modified storage containers that will be shipped worldwide to provide equipment storage facilities in Alicante, Rio De Janeiro, Capetown, Boston and Singapore.

A total of three containers will be used and will be shipped in advance of team arrival to each of the destinations.

The Volvo Ocean Race is the established jewel in the elite field of international yacht racing starting again in late 2008-09. The race will thread a course around the planet taking in key economic and cultural centres.
